Turkish Cypriot pianist Taner gives recital in Cairo
Nicosia, November 4, 2025 (TAK): Turkish Cypriot Pianist Ruya Taner gave a recital last night at the Cairo Embassy of the Republic of Turkey.
Prominent Egyptian musicians and artists were among the audience at the performance titled “Highlights from Sweet Waters of Asia.”
Taner performed works by composers such as Glinka, Borodin, Fazıl Say, Dede Efendi, Muzaffer Sarısözen, Vasıf Adıgüzelov, Aziza Mustafazadeh and Sayram Akdil.
